Make your own probiotic drinks at home, exactly the way you like them, infinitely customisable and cheaper than anything you'll get in the stores.

In this hands-on workshop, we'll explore everything about Kombucha and its lighter sibling, Jun – two naturally carbonated drinks that are delicious and good for your gut.

We will start with some tastings, and then get right into the brewing process. No previous knowledge required. You will choose your own teas and flavours to create two unique brews to take with you.

You'll leave with everything you need to brew your own at home.

Bubbling with curiosity? Join us!

What you'll learn

  • How to brew and flavour kombucha and jun
  • What a kombucha SCOBY is (magical) and how it transforms your tea
  • Flavouring techniques to create your own signature drinks
  • The science behind natural carbonation, and how to get the perfect fizz
  • How to maintain your SCOBYs and keep healthy, thriving cultures.

What you'll take home

  • Your own custom-flavoured kombucha, ready-to-go
  • A bottle of your own freshly brewed kombucha (or jun), ready to ferment and finish at home
  • A kombucha SCOBY, so you can keep making your own
  • Recipe cards with the details of your bespoke brews, and other recipes.

The workshop lasts from 1pm to approximately 4pm and costs € 55-, which includes all necessary pots, bottles, scobies/starters and ingredients. You'll leave with everything you need to brew your own buch at home, with confidence.

A few practical things...

Kombucha naturally contains a small amount of alcohol (usually under 0.5%) and caffeine, as it's brewed from tea. Please bear this in mind if you're pregnant, avoiding alcohol, or sensitive to caffeine. Contact your doctor if you have any health concerns.

We clearly label allergens in our ingredients and will mention these during the workshop. Please let us know about any allergies in advance so we can prepare properly.

We can accommodate most allergies, but only if we know ahead of time. If you haven't told us about an allergen (e.g. gluten) at least 48 hours before the workshop and we're unable to accommodate it, we can't offer a refund.

There is a dedicated section for allergens and accessibility needs in our registration form. Feel free to contact us with extra details.

  • 100% refund if cancelled at least 4 days before the workshop.
  • 50% refund if cancelled less than 4 days before the workshop.
  • No refund if cancelled less than 48 hours before the workshop.

If you are unable to attend the workshop, you can transfer your ticket to another person. Please contact us if you would like to do this.

In the unlikely event that the workshop is cancelled, you will receive a full refund.

Each ticket or place is valid for one person only. Multiple people can not share one ticket (eg: a couple can not pay for one ticket, nor can a parent and child.), unless otherwise stated on the event page and within the registration process.

If you have trouble making payment via our website, please contact us.
